This 24 year old Los Angeles resident came to our offices seeking rhinoplasty surgery. She wanted to achieve greater balance among her facial features but had concerns about being able to maintain her ethnic identity.
The primary feature she was interested in addressing was her prominent nasal bump. She also wanted greater projection and definition of the tip of her nose which appeared to droop.
Dr. Rawnsley performed endonasal rhinoplasty, which doesn’t require an incision across the bottom of the nose. The hump was reduced and the nasal profile aligned. He was also able to improve her tip projection and added additional tip support.
Her result turned out great. She was able to maintain her visual ties to her cultural heritage while achieving the greater overall balance that she sought.
